Umfangreiche Kanzleischrift mit genealogischen Eintragungen.
Laut Einleitung zu Beginn versammelt der Codex die Vorfahren und Nachkommen eines Adam Johannis Canelli, chronologisch geordnet von 1400 bis 1496. Jeder Eintrag beginnt mit der kalligraphisch hervorgehobenen Einleitung "In nomine Domini Amen. Anno a Nativitate .. millio quatercentesimo Nonagesimo secundo", am Schluß jeweils eine notarielle Bestätigung. Mit einem 9-seitigen Inhaltsverzeichnis am Anfang. - Saubere und abkürzungsreiche Bastarda von zwei oder drei Händen.
EINBAND: Zeitgenössischer Holzdeckelband mit Resten eines Kalblederbezugs und zwei Schließbeschlägen. Folio. 31,5 : 22 cm. - KOLLATION: 294 Bll. Blattgröße ca. 30 : 21 cm. Schriftspiegel 21 : 12 cm. 26-28 Zeilen. - ZUSTAND: Unterschiedlich wasserrandig (meist am Kopf- und Seitensteg), Kopfsteg mit Wurmspuren und tls. feuchtigkeitsbedingten Läsuren (erste Bll. stärker betroffen). Rücken entfernt, Deckel mit Fehlstellen durch Wurmfraß.

Contemp. wooden binding with rests of leather covering. - Different waterstaining, mostly at upper and side margin, at head with wormtraces and damages due to damp (first leaves stronger affected), spine removed, boards partly with damages by worming.
