GW 6061. - Hain/Cop. 4424. - Goff C 165. - BMC V, 159. - BSB C-129. - Rare first edition . - The famous preacher Robertus Caracciolus, Franciscan and bishop of Aquino, wrote this collection of sermons during the pontificate of Paul II. it contains "73 sermons for the days from Sunday LXX to Tuesday after Easter; for the Sundays Invocavit to Iudica each 2 sermons, for Maundy Thursday 3 sermons" (GW). Some twenty editions were released up until 1497. - Slightly foxed in places and with some waterstains. Boards rubbed and scuffed. Inside fine and broad-margined copy (isolated témoins) with contemp. red and brown marginalia.
