Erste und einzige Ausgabe des schönen Insektenbuches mit den kolorierten Tafeln von Rudolf Johann Schellenberg, einem der besten naturgeschichtlichen Künstler seiner Zeit.

EINBAND: Kalblederband der Zeit. 28 : 23 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 2 Titelkupfern und 32 kolorierten Kupfertafeln von J. R. Schellenberg sowie 15 Textkupfern von J. Sulzer. - KOLLATION: XXVIII (1 Titelkupfer mitpag.), 274 S., 71 S. - ZUSTAND: Stellenw. geringfügig fleckig, Buchblock mehrfach gebrochen, dort in den Falzen mit Klebespur. Rücken beschabt. - PROVENIENZ: Titel im Unterrand mit hs. Monogramm und kl. Monogramm-Stempel.
