With 3 engr. frontispieces, 3 engr. title vignettes (rep.), 1 engr. map and 146 (1 double page) engr. plates and 33 text engravings. Contemp. calf with gilt spine and 2 labels. - First and last leaves foxed. Binding in places scraped and bumped, outer joints partly torn. Clean copy with wide margins on firm laid paper.
